Amazing to think that the sun has illuminated this stunning ediface

every (clear) day for almost1,900 years!

...but hidden behind the masonry in the foreground. If you arrive at opening time, you can get to the library before the crowds, but at that time the sun had not risen sufficiently high in the sky so the lighting was not so dramatic. By the time the sun arrives, so have boat loads (literally!) of people. Thanks Vadim for dropping by my Turkey pics, it is a wonderful place for photography. Cheers, RickDB
