deb1 0 Posted November 18, 2009 I found this when I cropped an image to just get her face. It made me smile. Please share your thoughts... deb Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 18, 2009 deb, I love most everything about this deb. A couple quick comments for possible improvements. Your subject should have more room in front of her than behind. This allows her to be facing into the picture, not out of it. You want to compositionally balance the left and right sides of the photograph. The compositional "rule" for this suggests that you position the tip of the subject's nose in the vertical center of the photograph. The fly-away hairs and the one in her eye is distracting. The advertising is not part of the photograph. Your name and the date could be placed on the mat.Advertising would be more appropriately placed on the back of the photograph. Nice shot, Mark Link to comment
