davidmccracken 2 Posted November 19, 2009 Personally, I thought this photograph was amusing. No one else seems to think so. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted November 29, 2009 I love this. As a fashion fanatic I would love to see a carpet and a few designers sitting alongthe runway. Beautiful mate. -Owen Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 9, 2009 The guy going up the steps may be oblivious, but I am not. Great look/attitude by the model. I love the little bright spot in the upper left center that the yellow umbrella provides. And this may sound a bit strange, but I like the look of the whole street...the atmosphere, I guess you'd say. The widening foreground of the empty roadway also very effectively isolates the model from her surroundings. Very well done. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted December 10, 2009 Owen, I like your idea but somehow I don't think I will be pulling that one off. Jim, I like this for the reason you state. It is all about the mood, albeit a bit ridiculous. The yellow umbrealla never stimulatesd me until I read your comment. Now it is the first thing I see when I look at this image. Thanks guys! JPPhoto1664880217 5 Posted December 10, 2009 An interesting metaphor, expressed very elegantly. Jim Phelps Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted December 11, 2009 Thanks for stopping by Jim. I don't quite get your meaning but I think maybe it is just the way my head feels at the moment. Link to comment

Elstad 9 Posted May 9, 2010 I agree with Jim but it also puts me in mind of the Beatles and Abby Road. Fabulous, and an oddly erotic street shot... Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 10, 2010 I get the Abbey Road similarity but I am not getting the erotic street shot feeling. Thanks for stopping by. Link to comment
