ak-arts 0 Posted November 15, 2009 I would like to know what you think about it. Whats to improve? It was done with a single image, scanned from Ilford XP2 negative shotwith Mamiya RZ67, all the alterations were drawn with a Wacom tabletusing PS CS4, I've choosen to use hybrid process because the file ismuch better and flexible (almost 1gb tiff), I've plenty of informationand detail without any digital noise that always come up when youheavely manipulate images. raymondborg 0 Posted November 15, 2009 Impressive post processing. Very creative work. My only comment is that there are some hot spots especially on the window beside her hand. Hope you accept my comment. Still it's an out-standing image. Congrats. Link to comment
davidclapp 0 Posted November 15, 2009 I dont see any hot spots, it looks fine to me. The only thing I think could improve this image is I need her right hand back. Its a brilliant piece of post processing to say the least, the shadow work is exceptionally good inside her body. Macabre and very cool at the same time... well done! Link to comment
ak-arts 0 Posted November 16, 2009 Thank you Raymond and David! The hotspot...it's no a 255 white, the greatness of film is that it maintains the high and low lights very well. I could compensate a little the brithness of the window but I forgot about that. ;)The harm, I didn't have any because the right harm was on her head...ahahahaha...and it's quite hard to draw a realistic hand. I'll do it this week, maybe, I need to get a reference from her. Link to comment
dgarner23 0 Posted November 16, 2009 As a rule I do not like images that are manipulated to change content, BUT this is art. Thank you for this work. Very nice. Link to comment

Art X Photography 1 Posted November 16, 2009 its a very nice piece. good editing work and light tones, perhaps applying the same editing process to parts of her face or hair would also work well. also maybe from a lower perspective pushing upwards adds another dimension and make showcase the arteries more effectively, in any event this is a very nice image. well done Link to comment
murphymj4803 0 Posted November 18, 2009 I have only one word for this fabulous photo, "spectacular". Along with my praise comes my admiration for your work. Regards, Michael Link to comment

tracey_harris1 0 Posted January 2, 2010 Love this capture! May I ask how you got this effect on the body. I'm new to this forum and just starting to experiment with different types of manipulation. Link to comment
ak-arts 0 Posted January 2, 2010 Tracey, it's a drawing on photo , I used some layers to help me to draw everything, some clone tool to speed up some parts, but it is mostly free-hand drawing using a wacom tablet. ;) It's almost the same that I would do if I were painting on canvas with traditional methods.
