m._ort 0 Posted September 19, 2002 Looks cross-processed. The greenish cast is somewhat garish, yet seems fitting somehow. Also, the hand placement seems awkward, but then upon further observation seems OK. Can't explain it. Overall your "winged angel" in a train simply WORKS. Kind regards, m. Link to comment
daniel vinklars lefteye. 0 Posted September 19, 2002 Love the light, love the colors, as result of cross processing, but this is digital, right, pleasing picture, should deserve more quality in terms of grain. regards, DV Link to comment
wjm 0 Posted September 19, 2002 I would have thought this must have been a staged/posed shot. Are you saying that you just saw this girl getting off the train? I agree is with the above postings, love the composition, color, and concept. It works! Link to comment
tom_permutt 0 Posted September 19, 2002 I like it, too, but I wish there were some detail in all that black. Link to comment
rp3o 0 Posted September 20, 2002 Bill, I was gathering up my luggage (incl. my camera!), and she was gathering up her wings...I told her I was an amateur photographer, and she agreed to pose; turns out, she's a model, and was returning from a shoot! Link to comment
wjm 0 Posted September 20, 2002 Isn't that half of photography? The other half is making the most of the opportunity. You certainly did that. Congratulations! Link to comment
paolo1960 0 Posted September 22, 2002 Nice portrait, I like the contrast. She seems an angel (black...?!). Link to comment
dzhaughnne 0 Posted October 6, 2002 Are you sure that's right? Even if you had used a tripod (which I assume you didn't), I find it hard to believe she could have held still enough in this pose to get a shot this clear. Great picture though. Link to comment
roger_scherrer 0 Posted October 7, 2002 Fascinating picture! I wonder what she was thinking...? Link to comment
