Dror, your photographs are not only beautiful, but also quite educative. Now I know what a corinthian capital is, and I would't have learned without you.

Now to the photo: what I like very much is the combination of tones. The composition also works quite well. One thing that I find not optimal is the rather bright upper part of the petals, a bit too bright for my taste.

Overall I still think it's a good picture. And the title fits perfectly well.

stanislav - i took some liberties here with the corinthian capital. it was not inspired by a rose but by a acanthus plant. nevertheless, it reminded me of one. yes, the tip is a bit bright but there wasn't much i could do about it. take care and keep me on my toes..., dror.
