Exquisite! Wow, Mark this is an INCREDIBLE photo! So much detail is seen in this dew drop. Looks like a tiny crystal.

David Burpee
the dew drop shot is seen alot but this one has a graceful beauty that really elevates it. Your macros are so bloody sharp and the fact that they're hand-held drive me into a jealous rage. You and Charles Chien continually amaze me with your macro work and provide me with constant inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

An attractively abstract treatment of a familiar subject, although the highlight is a bit loud. Having said that, I really think the water droplet theme would benefit from a period of benign neglect...

Don Harper
Depth of field I've been reading that the digital cameras have much greater depth of field than film. Do you find that to be the case? You're obviously a master of macro work. Is the digital camera one of your keys to mastering this specialty? Thanks

Rule of third Nice capture. Especially all the details in the droplet. Though I was wondering how the 50mm can be used in reverse.

Sriram Lakshminarayan
outstanding! u've captured a dew drop like i've never seen before. the over-exposed white region at the top is a bit distracing though..nevertheless, 10/10.

This picture attracted my immediatly in you folio. To me the originality of a more than common scene illustrates perfectly what photo is about. The details in the water drop add a finish touch to the picture, congratualtions. Jean

Excellent stuff Mark!

Absolutely equisite! The slight blur of the leaf, the diagonal of the composition and the musicality of the water sphere. This drop of water sings like the note of C, yes, for Pythagoras. Thanks.

Pauline Degas
Excellent macro.

When I look at your portfolio I dream to have mine as good as yours! As a self made photograph myself too, you are an inspiration for me! Thanks!
