jeffl7 0 Posted November 11, 2009 Such a humble, yet touching scene. Mushrooms always evoke images of the world spring up on a small scale, little umbrellas for gnomes, a tiny forest for fairies, a rich and fertile experience. Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted November 16, 2009 Thank you both very much for your visit and comments.Jeff,I could not express better how they looked like to me while I was shooting this scene:...little umbrellas for gnomes, a tiny forest for fairies...I wish I could get the closer one in focus as well. No time to adjust the tripod as it was rather late and we were returning from a hike... Link to comment
human images 4 Posted November 18, 2009 in the old hippie days in British Columbia a bunch of us used to take day trips all around Vancouver's surrounding forests to harvest psychedelic mushrooms - a.k.a. magical mushrooms . They looked just like the ones you show here. . . They may in fact be the very same type. Such magical things they were (are). Good pic Bulent. Lovely title ;-) Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted December 3, 2009 A always wondered the source of Carlos' inspiration and now I know. It's nice that you have celebrated these humble little creatures; your photograph lends then a shy dignity. Link to comment
pfranklin 0 Posted January 3, 2010 Love the title and I am wondering if you did see some of the little Lilliputians’ when you were there….I think this looks like a tiny homestead, the rocky landscaping in the back looks like a rooftop and there is even a path leading to the dwelling. Awesome shot and thank you for adding a smile to my day! Warm regards, Pamela Link to comment
