View of Paris from Montmartre

Would like some feedback on this shot of Paris from Montmartre.

I really like this shot- I've been to montmartre and, for me, this capture's the essence of paris in B&W. Maybe the Eiffel Tower could have been composed more in the center of the 2 columns?? Works for me.

I agree with the other posters that it would be nice to see how this would look with the Tower centered between the columns and/or with the shot focused at infinity. Aside from that, I love the way this shot captures the style (for lack of a better word) of an old European city like Paris. No skyscrapers like here in the States, just low-rise buildings as far as the eye can see with the Tower standing majesticly over them. The columns add a nice framing to the scene.

I am looking to see if I have one focused at infinity. So far no luck finding a negative...

too top heavy, too much bald sky, not enough city. The idea is good, but if you had gotten higher, backed up to get infinity focus and shot a horizonal with the tower in the center of a space to the right, I think the balance would have worked better.

I think this is a great shot with some origionality to it. It does all seem to be a little off focus and not very sharp. Personally I like the off center composition. Centered between the columns would be so typical. Nice shot.
