Nameless Caboose, Spencer-Salisbury Yard, 2007

Landrum Kelly

I found this old shot today when I took my old Olympus (purchased in Jan., 2002) out to see if the batter was any good. The card--with the last shots made in 2007--was still in the camera. The card was an old IBM 1GB Microdrive.

It says "NS" on the side, so I guess it belongs to Norfolk andSouthern, but I have no idea what road it used to travel or what colorscheme was painted over. The mainline on the other side of the carsused to be the old Southern Railroad mainline from Washington, DC toNew Orleans. It is still plenty busy with freights, Amrtrak, and NCcommuter trains. Comments welcome.
