I think the bg add considerably to the 'queen of the forest.' Kind of draws you into it.

Wonderful! Are you a fan of The Decemberists? On their epic album, "The Hazards Of Love", one of the antagonists is "The Queen". This is how I picture her. She is a powerful and vengeful lady.

At one point, she sings:

 

 

"I’m made of bones of the branches, the boughs, and the brow-beating

light

While my feet are the trunks and my head is the canopy high

And my fingers extend to the leaves and the eaves and the bright

Brightest shine, it’s my shine"

 

Wonderful composition - very original portrait of the goddess of the woods. Great colors too. regards.
