jeff.grant 0 Posted November 5, 2009 Karl, I can just about smell it. This is excellent, well framed and balanced. If I were to do anything to it, I might be inclined to tone down the two flouros in the back of the shop. They pull the eye away from the interesting FG. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted November 6, 2009 Peshawar for me is a country "behind the dark mountain".... and still the elements of composition are looking very familiar....;-)) It is very well composed and balanced frame . For me the strong spices colors are not disturbing, as the bright clothes of the store keeper are a good contrast also by the man's size. The FG and BG imo are well framing the middle. Karl Schuler 48 Posted November 6, 2009 Dear Jeff and Pnina, thanks for your comments. Based on Jeffs suggestion I have removed the lamps in the print version. I hope the changes will be soon visible in the photo.net version. Pnina, behind the dark mountains is perhaps the center of the world ;-)). Karl Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted November 6, 2009 It's changed in the large view, and it looks a lot better IMHO. Link to comment

jrickert 2 Posted February 5, 2012 Perfect composition. Beautiful colors. I usually don't like the color orange, but this photo is beautiful, because of the orange spices and bowls. The light is just right and the positioning of the bags and bowls is perfect. Link to comment
