Hi Chad, despite some hard shadows a 15 second tweak is all that is needed IMO. Adjusting contrast, saturation and applying unsharp mask for sharpening. Does this look better?

Either all in or all out I think. A little bit of the luck of the draw, especially when you are taking shots of your kids. Just take lots of shots. 1 in 100 will amaze you.

What do you mean Leigh? How would you be all in or all out in this particular case?

I use NIKON Capture NX 2 for 90% of my corrections.
