je ne regrette rien 67 Posted November 5, 2009 Good dynamics of this street photo. There is a peculiar communication between the five. It seems as if only the soldier in the background has realised that your were photographing them, together with the man sitting under the tree. Shows your capability as a "street photographer". Technically it could be slightly rotated to the left, but I guess that this is a tribute to pay to fast photographic action, so I should neglect it. Good documentary of Israeli life. Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted November 5, 2009 Did you have mean rotated right, not left? The photo for me is kind of spoiled because the 6th soldier on the right is mostly hidden and should fill the gap on the right. Throws everything off in balance to my eye. Link to comment
je ne regrette rien 67 Posted November 5, 2009 As you can understand from my comment, I did not see the sixth! As to the rotation, I realise that Ben Yehudah Street might be going up, as the position of the feet of the fifth soldier right shows. The photo is therefore perfectly level! Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted November 5, 2009 Thank you comments and encouragement I think you are correct about the slope. Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted November 7, 2009 "see and think of", yep.. Nice looking boys. .. Thanks for looking. Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted February 4, 2010 attaching a rotated version as suggested above. In my eye it does look better this way. However looking at the man on the far right and the bevel of the wall which he sits it is clear that the surface slopes downward from right to left. Link to comment
