Liz, I love images like this. Autumn isn't just about red and yellow. I might have taken a little off the top so the eye goes more readily to the leaves. Regards Adrienne

Gorgeous light on this one Liz. I wouldn't touch a thing. Some of the best light is in the upper portion of the picture.

All the best,

Neil

I agree with Neil about light in upper part of your image particularly left side of it, I like your composition and clarity of colors , very well done Liz regards

Thank you all for your comments. I chose this scene because I liked how the light was so selective on the branches. I also meant to convey the darkness behind them.

Like the simple compsition of lines and colors. The tree trunks have nice texture and the last of the fall leaves add to its charm. Thanks for sharing. Regards ifti

Interestingly, I've looked at several overly sharp, HDR shots prior to this, and I find your treatment so natural, calming, and quieting. It's the photographic equivalent of eyedrops. I love the little burst of leaves meandering through the trunks.

Excellent light and colors. But why the sudden green border on top? Distracts the sober amber of the image for me. 6/6 and Best wishes.

Many thanks for all the comments.

Jayanti, thank you for your comment. Especially about the green border. It's sort of funny in a way, because I posted this right after I'd had eye surgery, and I couldn't see very well. In fact, my eyes are still not back to normal, and I don't think I'd have seen it yet if you hadn't brought it up. I believe I didn't crop correctly. Thank you for your time.
