michael_hanisch 0 Posted September 15, 2002 I enjoy the lighting/color, and the way the perspective leads my eyes from the red lifesaver to the cloud formations in the background. What I don't like is that my eyes get stuck half-way there, because there is IMO too much clutter in the center of the frame... Link to comment
kasigi 0 Posted October 3, 2002 Good use of perspective, and I like the reddish colors - it addes to the image. Link to comment
miguelangelhoyas 0 Posted October 6, 2002 I like the composition and the light you catched here, but i find the lifesaver too saturated and distracting. Link to comment
rjacksonphoto 0 Posted October 12, 2002 Great shot! The composition, lighting, exposure-- everything. The red lifesaver really anchors things. Good use of DOF. A scene as full of possibility as a spring morning. Link to comment
jimvanson 0 Posted March 18, 2003 Flawless composition, great light & color...well done! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 1, 2003 good composition with light and tone. the position of the bridge in the back ground, capping the pole is a bit disturbing. Link to comment
rashardw 0 Posted October 21, 2003 I have looked at this piece over and over, but that gold tubing keeps taking my eye from the natural flow. I love the piece, and the clouds are what do it for me, not as much the lifesaver. I keep ducking when I look at this piece because I feel as if I am going to hit my head on the clouds. The other distraction I have is the Oar, or whatever that pole thing is sticking up in the middleof the frame. But other than that, I really like it. Link to comment
root 0 Posted October 21, 2003 I see the rope, lifesaver, yellow hose, green hose, etc. all leading to the clouds. The 'oar' is a actually a rather large sign that I would just as soon not be there. Link to comment
bluebanana763 0 Posted March 19, 2004 if the peir was a more centered view.. like straight down it, it would be a cool pic, kinda like a long pier to nowhere type thing, in this perspective, its just like a picture of a peir Link to comment
