nyiri 0 Posted November 4, 2009 Jose... this has wonderful texture and color... I'm drawn to making images like this myself. A great image maker, Jay Maisel, once warned me about the seduction of images like this: "Without a visual anchor or subject, a potentially fine image becomes just wallpaper." If you can reshoot this, is there a section within you can identify with a stronger pattern or flow, which might then become the subject? Having offered a critique, I still love the texture! janc 0 Posted November 6, 2009 Thanks a lot Rajeev, you catch my idea :-) Thanks Alan for your help, I understand what you mean but I did not resist to shot this piece of iron plate I found on a mountain with so much time/life in its texture and color, I have been always caught by these colors tones and textures of old rusted iron. Best regards. Link to comment
