OCTOBER'S DRIFT

October has turned unusually cold with early snows and blustery

winds, the sun has rarely made an appearance but the sky has

provided dramatic opportunities for images such as this one as fall

colors rapidly diminish. comments welcome

Very nice indeed, my favorite cloud types here, in another 4 months we'll get some clouds like this. Great color, kind of painterly, nice atmosphere.

I'm tuned in to what you're capturing here. It looks a lot like this in central PA right now. I went out in sunlight this afternoon to try & capture some fall colors and was rained on before the afternoon was over. This image has a definite mood and I like it.

Richard I'm torn between this one and the vertical version. I like them both very much. What I like are the muted colors. My only question was in regard to the upper left tree limb poking into the scene. Photographers choice. :P Very nice - Sean
