I was told to crop this, but I always believe you should get it right in the frame ...good or bad

I've cropped the 35mm frame, but kinda feel like I'm cheating by

doing so. This is out of a series of four shots

IT is tight enough as it is...In fact I feel it is too tight.

I feel much the way you do, get it right in camera.

Great shot! The cropping is fine. You captured all the right things, and the essense of the sport!

Looks a little too dark, about 1/3 to 1/2 stop. It's tough to get good angles at a rodeo without a lot of white hats in background.

Was he able to get his foot out of that stirrip?

Yes he was able to make it all the way out of the stirup. See the other photos in the same folder for the sequence. =0)

I think it is fine the way it is in terms of how the frame is used. For my eye, I would suggest you give us more detail of the beasts in the photo. On my screen they have come out almost black.

I like the tight crop, although I would make it even on the left & right. If you do brighten the image, it only needs a little. Apart from that great shot.
