The Sky Is Up in SF

robertbrown

Taken just afternoon, after touring the SF Modern Art Museum. Very nice sunny day. Reasonably happy with result. This is probably a favorite shot of SF, but haven't seen it before. Scanned on my new Epson 2450--hope to master it over time.

I saw this coming out of the SF MOMA--I liked the lines, colors,

humor. Reasonably happy with the framing and composition. Consciously

decided to exclude any sky, which was blue that day! While I won't be

back for a few years, any comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks.

*laughs* my boyfriend just got back from San Fransisco and took pictures of this building as well. This photo is cropped very nicely, Good job!

I also like the framing here, and the fact that you can't see the sky. I also happen to have photographed this sign (in black and white), but I like the constrast of the stone building with the skyscraper behind it. I just wish the trolley cables weren't there...

This is a "nice" photo, and I like it. I am not certain how one can improve this photo ... possibly different lighting conditions or include some subject in the foreground (maybe people or trolleys). Anyway nice work.

Hi Robert,

This is a great capture of an unusual opportunity.

I am happy with most of it except the deistracting power line that I admit is out of your hands.

Is it possible to crop the shot with more of the background buildings above the arrow. This might give a little more purpose to the shot...and curiosity.
