dougityb 0 Posted May 26, 2006 I'm afraid I don't see too much to look at in this picture. The title suggests I concentrate on the sky, but there's not enough going on in the sky to keep me there. and the foreground is a little bland, too. I lik the colors, and the fact that the foreground, bland as it is, is dark, which leads the eye back into the storm. good framing. Link to comment
tmhutchins 0 Posted May 26, 2006 Finally a storm shot I can comment on because storms are my thing!! Firstly I noticed the lilly pond and it reminds me of Northern Australia where I live. The guy that commented on the sky is correct, storms are bold subjects and excellent to photograph if you hang in there and wait for the perfect moment. You could have moved back away from the water and captured more sky. Also if the cloud has a real nasty gust front try and do a panorama or for the more extreme use a fisheye lens. Cloud structure is the important thing here even although the scenary is nice. Tim H Link to comment
