Vapor Trails

I tried for the "overdone sunset shot". 3 jets were playing Top Gun.

Is this awful?

Awful- as in awfully beautiful, that is! Wonderful colors and the vapor trails add a great deal of interest/contrast. Thanks for sharing!

Aweful? Absolutely not. I think it becomes an interesting "patterns" image. Suggestion--crop off about one-third of the bottom. This will bring the horizon down from it's almost middle of the frame position. Also, nice colors.

No it's not - and I agree with the user above about cropping. Crop very close to the horizon...

I read a bunch of forums yesterday, and sunsets were really bashed. So I hesitated to post this one. I love em, but rarely take them. I am going to work on the crop , Roger. Thanks so much for the feedback. I would much rather have great critiques than those 3/3's that are out there.
