I like the shot, and the way the boat is framed. There's not much in the photo itself to suggest cold, other than the title- that could be some ice around the pier on left, not sure.

I assume this says something about your determination in being there to photograph him as well!

I used to think fishermen were crazy to get up in the middle of the night and go fishing. Then I got started hiking in the mountains, and there were quite a few summer mornings when I got up at two or three in the morning to go hiking. It made me appreciate a fisherman's mentality a bit more.
