In response to your question, I like both versions. If pushed, I'll vote for the crop of this image and the monotone conversion of the other. This crop brings the viewer closer to the subjects (and their eyes) while the monotone provides for a more 'timeless' feel. Just my thoughts.... M :)

I agree. I really like the tighter crop, but I think I would like to see it in the black and white. I love the feel of this photo. It just draws me in.
