This looks like Venice, but I have no idea what this jumbled silhouette in the foreground is.

Didn't know what I was looking at until I read the caption, interesting none the less.. tired of regular gondola shots so I'd mark high on originality for sure.

This photo was shot in Piazza S. Marco between the 2 columns and looking to the S. Giorgio island (the shape in the background). It was about the end of January 1992 at 8 A.M. One of the first pictures taken with my new Nikon F601, ilfochrome 100 and 70-210 mm. 1 month later, some people came to my house during the night and stole my all-the-summer-working-to-buy-it-camera. At the time I was 20 years old. I wasn't very happy about this thing.
