It's somewhat difficult to decide if the bird is sharp enough, or

that its rough feathers cause a somewhat unsharp image which could

correspond to the real situation. What's your opinion? Cheers, Sam.

Sam I think that the Bird is a little soft as the leaves behind it are in focus. It looks like the auto focus picked up between the tree and the bird. Regards, Bill

Hi Sam, cool bird but I've got to agree with Bill. The beak, eye and stripes on the tail feathers are soft and the leaves do look sharper. Again though, very cool bird. All the best.

Thanks very much for your opinions. Here the autofocus facility clearly failed. I have taken several shots , placing the bird in the centre but everytime it came out slighly fuzzy. Cheers, Sam.
