I like what you are trying to do with this image. The steam coming off the pot on the left is very visually appealing. The pot area, however, is not sharp. The biggest detractors in this image are the overexposed highlights in the foreground, limited dof, and perhaps too many elements (too busy), some of which are unnecessary for aesthetic appeal. The image may be as you found it, and therefore accurate, but to make it aesthetically pleasing, you may have to arrange some elements, such as eliminate the plastic bag and red&white paper in background, etc. Thank you for sharing your photos, and you have some interesting ones in your folders - I stopped by and had a look. Keep shooting.
