ghuczek 0 Posted August 21, 2005 Grain cars and elevators, once so common on the prairie landscape, are quickly being torn down, replaced by huge concrete structures run by large corporations. Seeing one of the old grain elevators still in tact brings with it a sense of nostalgia about how things were and how times have changed. Link to comment
graham boyd 0 Posted August 24, 2005 Beautiful photo. I like everything about it--comp, grain, angle, contrast. Well done. Link to comment
randall ellis 2 Posted August 25, 2005 The grain, the tonal values of the sky, and the point of view lend this image a great deal of feeling. The distance of the nearest car is just right to really set of the depth and to lead the viewer?s eye right into the image. Superb work here, really. It is important to record the past and you are doing a hell of a job with it. Thanks for sharing this one. - Randy Link to comment
WJT 649 Posted August 29, 2005 to really appreciate this one. I like the "tooth" that the film grain imparts to it. Regards. Link to comment
