Kudos on a very nice image. It has wonderful color and composition. But its got some pretty severe inward lean. You were obviously using the 10mm end of your zoom. I have the same lens and have experienced the same wide angle perspective distortion a time or two. The good news is that its easily fixed using the transform function in Photoshop. Its very easy to straighten things up. If you did this would be a fabulous image.

What great colours! This looks like an classic oil painting - then you see the Eye (i).

I am so sick of seeing the eye as an 'arty' shot taken from just beneath it. It's refreshing to see it from this angle. I really like the clouds too. Just a really good shot. Thanks for sharing

Dear Larry,

I was aware of the inward lean of the lens but thought it wasn't so marked in this image and no one would notice.

However, I was obviously wrong and there are plenty of sharp tools in the 'photo.net' shed!

I will correct it as instructed and many thanks for your comments but also to take the time to explain how to get great pictures to ham-fisted amateur like myself.

This is a gorgeous image!! I was in London for a week last summer, and tried and tried to get shots of the Eye (some are in my portfolio). This is probably the best image of the eye that I've seen!! Great lighting, color, and just plain old fabulous!! Great work!!

Fantastic picture, dramatic sky, very beautiful. I should have seen your portfolio before I took photos in London.
