You forgot to say what lens you use. As it appears similar to one of mine I assume perhaps 500mm. You can compare if you like by looking in my "Night Time" folder. Also, how long was exposure, ect. ect.

 

Nearly forgot, for Liza.:- No, those bits in the edge aren't stuck on. They are craters and show like that because of the light and shadow across them. There are craters all over the moon after being hit many times by meteors.

Liza, I took this one with 1/160 shutter and the aperture was f8 I think. I had my camera set a 800 ISO. I didn't do anything to the picture except crop some of the sky.

Thanks Steve for the complement. I looked at yours and I do like them. I was using a 500mm. I also had it on a tripod even using the 160th speed.
