chris hughes 0 Posted August 17, 2005 Interesting use of color and black and white. I think that the reflections in the sign are a little distracting though. I wonder if a polarizer would have removed some of that? 5/6 Link to comment
orensztajn 0 Posted August 18, 2005 Yes, I think too it is ditracting but I was in a bus stop and it was raining a lot (as it can be seeing) and I didn't had anything besides the camera. Maybe it can be removed in PS? Link to comment
ransford 0 Posted August 18, 2005 I respectfully disagree. After all, you are breaking the rules here, quite successfully I might add. The surreal sign is in color, the real street is in black and white, so the reflection on the sign tells us the sign is a real part of the landscape, and who cares if "Camping" is clearly visible? I think this is the most successful of these mixed color/BW pieces so far. I love this picture.(I found the reflection not at all distracting, please don't change it) Link to comment
orensztajn 0 Posted August 18, 2005 Thank you a lot Ransford, I will not change it. I am glad you liked! Link to comment
paolonigris 0 Posted August 18, 2005 Very interesting use of color and B&W. This technique is overused, but in this case makes a lot of sense, congratulations. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted August 18, 2005 Que imagen tan bella. And I like the contrast of the color and the B & W as is I wouldn't change a thing. Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for your critique on My Venezia. As always thanks for your interest and your help. No se porque te he estado escribiendo en Ingles. Saludos. Marco Link to comment
rob_duyser 0 Posted August 21, 2005 As with many of your shots Gustavo, this puts a smile on my face, and no we shall not be put down with the somber summer we're having. Link to comment
