ken_imduaikiat2 0 Posted November 30, 2001 The diagonal skyline is intentional... I'm not sure if it's added ot the pic or otherwise.. Any comment is wellcomed Link to comment
adam_preble 0 Posted November 30, 2001 Marvelous... I think the tilted horizon is perfect. Not too subtle to be pegged as a mistake, and not overdone. Try as I might, I really can't think of one thing I'd like to change about it. Sorry. If you really want a criticism, I would change the title - "Lady" is just kindof... raw. Substitute "Bamboo", perhaps? Link to comment
philip_coggan 0 Posted November 30, 2001 The lady and her fishing pole are vertical in the photo, so I assume she was, in fact, somehow, off-vertical in reality (one leg shorter?). Anyway, the composition would have been very static if the lady and the horizon had been at 90 degrees to each other. The tilted horizon makes for a dynamic feel. Link to comment
waynechunlee 0 Posted November 30, 2001 I too like the tilt; I do that in a few of my images, but it doesn't always work. Here, it's just great. Link to comment
discus 0 Posted December 2, 2001 I don't know why people are against polarised almost black skies - personally, I love the effect; great photo. James. Link to comment
