schneekranich 0 Posted August 16, 2005 this sight is great Alix, how the bridge grows behind the hills, I also love the haze dividing for- and background. Link to comment
alexandra rauh 0 Posted August 17, 2005 Amal,Cherlyn, Chip's,Andrea,Klaus, Sam and Pnina. You all seem to like the different approach towards the bridge. Amal, I was not on a boat, there is a trail along the water. Alix Link to comment

sallycd 0 Posted August 20, 2005 Gee! Alix, this is great. I really needed to visit San Francisco again. I was there in the late 70's. The shades of contrast in here are unbelievable to me.I meant between the mountain and the building. It looked so pleasant.Lots of Yin and Yang here,Alix.Very good... I see you visited me again. I'm fine,Alix. And thanks for asking... Link to comment
alexandra rauh 0 Posted August 21, 2005 Thank You Sally for Your nice words and opinion Alix And thank You Gaetan telling me , You liked it. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted August 27, 2005 Very original shot! The telephoto compresses the bridge against the hill and rise up unexpectedly from it. The foreground buildings work well too. Link to comment
mspanakis 0 Posted August 27, 2005 man-nature-man. The most original photo of the Golden Gate I have seen. But is it a photo of the GG? of a fishing village? a prety landscape? a manscape? It tells such a long story about human history, mentality, ambition, progress... 'Lots of Yin and Yang' as Sally said. Excellent Alix! Link to comment
alexandra rauh 0 Posted August 28, 2005 Thank You both comming here right after Your absence.Very rewarding Colin it is informative,You are pointing out the telephoto, almost like I found it in a hide away. Manolis Your description also points out the fisher place, instead the landmark of san francisco. Link to comment
