wogears 186 Posted August 13, 2005 Saw him yesterday, but somebody had the dogs swimming in the creek, Today, no dogs, and I had two or three good shots. Link to comment
craig_bridge 0 Posted August 13, 2005 Last time I checked, Snowy Egrets had yellow feet and black bills. This appears to be a Great American White Egret (or Great Egret). I'd do some cropping of the to get rid of the top of the frame. Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted August 14, 2005 Yup. You're right. I don't usually misidentify birds, but I blew this one. Link to comment
matt_brandon 0 Posted August 14, 2005 could crop more and enhance bird's emphasis even more. Beautiful shot. Delicate looking. Link to comment
derekwin 0 Posted August 14, 2005 nice dof and I like the little bit of color in the background. Might do with a crop to get rid of the buiding at the top. Link to comment
hanna_v 0 Posted August 28, 2005 very good shot! In my opninion cropping is ok, to get the bird a bit more to the foreground. But I like the line with houses at the top, it gives an alternation in the image. Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted September 22, 2005 What a great shot and what a beautiful bird. I echo what others have said here about cropping. It would bring the wonderful bird much more into the picture. However a fantastic catch! Link to comment

rekaras 0 Posted April 24, 2008 A BEAUTIFUL CAPTURE OF WHATEVER KIND OF EGRET IT IS. What a contrast between it's glowing white and the darker tones of the background. Really nice image and thank you for your kind comments on a couple of my pieces. Regards rek. Link to comment
chad_goldman 0 Posted February 19, 2010 Very nice colors in this image. The crop really helps to put the Egret as the focus of the frame. CG Link to comment
