phongkim 0 Posted August 11, 2005 Another attempt at the Canon FD 50mm 1.4 mounted in reverse onto the Canon 100mm Macro lens. This shot was handheld and manual focus. I think I'm getting better but still haven't perfect the technique yet. Thanks for your advice! Link to comment

home page1 0 Posted August 11, 2005 Super details. What is an FD 50mm 1.4 reverse mount? Not an extension tube? That's a new one for me. Link to comment
phongkim 0 Posted August 11, 2005 Hi Ken, basically I took an old manual focus Canon 50mm f1.4 lens and mounted it onto the end of the Canon 100mm lens (two lens combined). It's very difficult to shoot with this type of setup because the DOF is paper thin. For more information about this reverse lens technique, check out this thread and this thread. The second link is a very good one. Link to comment

phongkim 0 Posted August 12, 2005 Dear Bos Well, if you don't like it, don't look at it! IMO, this picture doesn't deserve the "1" rating you gave it! Link to comment
