Winter rainbows in Torquay

taken with my little point and shoot digital - seconds later we got

hit by an antartic blast of icy winds and sleet!!

A polarizer might have helped bring out the colors.

I was using a little point and shoot - this was a real 'snatch' shot. Thanks for the advice though re the polariser but I like the sombre feel of the impending storm, more saturated colour would destroy that I feel. Cheers.

Here in New England we can tell you about cold, it has not been above freezing for over two weeks, and ice is solid on the laks and streams, and yesterday was the first day of Winter !
