AAh! This is terrific!

is a nice image. For a different perspective, you could have captured just a part of the arch. A tighter vertical composition starting at the left top corner of the image would have captured a partial arch while placing your subject in the lower right quadrant. Not to say this is not nice, but what I suggest might be a nicer take on the subject.

I tried to crop it as you suggested, and I liked it!

You comment made me realize that there is always the way you can break mandane composition and create something more unique. I appreceate your taking time to tell me this.

This is such a nice B&W photo. I think B&W is best for taking winter photos. I like the silhouettes of the tress and the framing.
