chad_goldman 0 Posted August 5, 2005 This photo underwent minor color adjustment and a frame was added. Kinda grainy, most of my shots this outing turned out that way (low light). Looks better smaller i believe..maybe I should make a folder of stuff to be viewed small? Please critique, your words of wisdom will help make me a better photographer. Link to comment
david_masterson 0 Posted August 5, 2005 A very bold statement. Good strong composition.. it is a pitty the light was low, this would have been an outstanding picture had it been tack sharp. Cheers! Link to comment
chad_goldman 0 Posted August 6, 2005 I know, I love the smaller version of it. looks clean. I also think part of the problem was the fact I was trying out the digital zoom on my camera (coolpix) combination low light and digital zoom... ahhh...I have a whole folder of photos that look great small, possible some of my best. but larger...lacks so much. cg Link to comment
david_masterson 0 Posted August 6, 2005 I think all you need is to eliminate the digital noise and tweek the contrast a bit... A tripod never hurts either :D Link to comment
chad_goldman 0 Posted August 7, 2005 ok dave, I'm relatively new to PN, how did you make that look so sharp???!! Link to comment
chad_goldman 0 Posted August 7, 2005 I should say, i'm relative new to PS, how do you do that? Link to comment
chad_goldman 0 Posted August 7, 2005 really? I was trying to shrink the image to get rid of the noise...interesting... Link to comment
chad_goldman 0 Posted August 7, 2005 Thanks, i've been researching for quite a while. Dreaming could be a better word. I'm looking for a midrange, dslr, such as the D70, or the XT. Since I already own a N75 w/2 lenses, it seems logical for me to choose the D70. Seems like a real solid camera. I've been to this site comparing different cameras, it is very informative. Thanks! I really appreciate you help! cg Link to comment
chad_goldman 0 Posted August 8, 2005 I've never really looked at any camera over the D70 and XT (basically the rebel only 8.1 mp and a few more features). You have piqued my curiosity though, Since it is still some time before I purchase I will take the time to look at some other models. hm... You never know... Thanks for the advice, and as always, It is greatly appreciated. Thanks cg Link to comment
