tonymarcello 0 Posted November 13, 2001 Perhaps a red filter could have made the sky a bit darker and more dramatic. Just a thought though, its your artwork. Link to comment
carl_chick 0 Posted November 13, 2001 Nice sky but previous photo much more captivating. Link to comment
galan 0 Posted November 13, 2001 This image is less remarkable than your previous entry... why?... because the position of the photographer has caused stark lighting on the left with loss of detail (the clouds man, the clouds). The Cirrus Cloud formations do little to add impact to this image whereas the Stratocumulus clouds in the previous image and to the right of this image add dimension. I don't much care for this image at all. Link to comment
shaun perry nz 0 Posted November 13, 2001 I like your previous photo more, seems a bit washed out in the sky to the left, also if it was taken standing more left and looking more right you might have gotten more detail in the rocks of the foreground. Link to comment
kelly_perl 0 Posted November 13, 2001 I hate to be the photography police, but that rock dead center weakens the composition. Taking them from the shadow side walls off the picture for me rather than inviting me in. I think a backlit composition can work, it just doesn't here. Link to comment
