pnital 36 Posted August 6, 2005 Gerry, that what is called to develop your seeing...we never stop learning from each other, thanks. Amal, when commenting I usualy read the previous comments written. If a photo interests me, I learn from other points of view, discovering as well new things, ideas, technics , and Yes ,errors too..... Alix, I did not shop there, only "borrowed" the window.... colin carron 58,916 Posted August 6, 2005 On the elegant plastic ladies - they are so refined they turn up their noses at the real world. They are a fantasy trapped in glass box. (I like the watery abstract too :-) lovely colours!) Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 6, 2005 Colin, for my error as well... Lee thanks, I wrote you. Pnina Link to comment

lgreene 0 Posted August 6, 2005 Pink and Black- the duo values or Madonna syndrome. I think the framing ties it all together perfectly. I'm not the best judge of city scenes but this grabbed me. Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted August 6, 2005 I like them both, your city reflections. But I actually came for the shop-window. It's a nice shot Pnina. I notice the plastic mannequins are a hot item at the moment. Particular if they are naked. But in spite of my aversion for pink underwear I prefer the nice dressed ladies here. The windowdresser has done his job very well and you too Pnina. The softness of the colours and light in this shot is beautiful. Next to what is in the shopwindow there is a lot of interesting to see through the reflection. You're delicate frame completes this nice composition. Warm regards, Ada:) Link to comment
bolti_ankheen 0 Posted August 7, 2005 Nice shot pnina, Very artistic touch. one of my suggestion is use uv filter when ever u want to shoot behind the glass will help alot. Regards Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 7, 2005 Pulok, Leann, Ada, and Bolti, for commenting your point of view.I realy like to hear the thoughts an image evokes, thanks for writing it, as numbers are shallow index if comment is not attached to it......what realy counts for me is impressions in writing. Thanks again, for doing it. Bolti , a UV filter I use all the time, Thanks Pnina Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted August 7, 2005 Funny, the thumbnail above the critique box is different, the first upload, I suppose. Anyway, Pnina, yiur city reflections is really good. Love how behind the inanimate carriers of fashion, the city move on busily. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 8, 2005 Pnina, I've enjoyed this entire folder. I like the variety of images you've captured. It's nice you've focused on all the different elements to be found in an old but thriving city. The mix of old and new is refreshing. Of course your "Past and Present" photo in this folder really sums it up! That's also a great shot. You're becoming quite the travel photographer. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 8, 2005 Paula, the second image is an error, please read what I wrote about it in the begining. Thanks for writing!. Laurie,as I wrote before, it is fascinating for me to discover cultures and people in different corner of the globus, and see it twice...My first impressions and than photographing them, sort of a study that enriches me, my seeing, and my photography in general. Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it. Pnina Link to comment
