Looking for Handouts from the Boat!

Hi Deborah, I like the picture and think it looks very good, usually people don't like it when white birds are overexposed but to me it almost looks like he is coming out of nowhere as his tail feathers are blending in with the sky etc.

 

If this is cropped I would crop it so that the bird has about 3 to 5 times the room in front of him that he has now and I might take away just a bit behind him. If this is full frame never mind what I just said as you did good just to get him. Also I think it would look very nice with a black frame around the Picture as the bird has black on his head and feet.

I like this shot very much. I clicked on the larger view and it shows very good focus. It's too bad that you couldn't get it on a clear day, but the white clouds give it a unique appearance. I think these shots are difficult. I have a few in my portfolio on photo.net and a lot of rejects that are not in the portfolio! You can add a black or gray frame in PS or another software package. Good work!
