anish 0 Posted August 3, 2005 I love the way the lines and shapes of these boulders and this bristlecone worked together. Comments welcome... -Anish Link to comment
pimgeertsfotografie 0 Posted August 3, 2005 I agree, there is a nice geometric-organic -contrast too. Good shot! Link to comment

rajeevthomas 1 Posted August 23, 2005 Great find Anish...nice shapes, it certainly takes your eyes thru the lines, I am not sure about the composition though, I think you could have tried a different angle of view, here I think the rocks are distracting.6/6 Link to comment
anish 0 Posted August 23, 2005 thanks for the comments, rajiv. along the discovery trail, the hiker is not allowed to leave the path, so unfortunately i didn't have too much of a choice on the angle. also, my 105 is my longest lens, and i had to crop considerably to get the composition i wanted. -Anish Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted August 31, 2005 I like this shot, with the vegetal world closing over the mineral one. The justapoxition of the curvy, adaptive, texture of the wood and the straight lines of the rocks works extremely well. Link to comment
