kaio1 0 Posted August 2, 2005 great shot. a slightly unconventional composition, with the bike heading out of the frame, but i think it works. Link to comment
jwkencke 0 Posted August 4, 2005 I was a bit too close to the road here. But the intensity of the riders makes it a great "feel" shot. You will notice they are not wearing leathers. That is trust. Thanks for the compliment. It is a bit different, I agree. Link to comment
jwkencke 0 Posted August 5, 2005 I would have preferred the framing a bit shifted. But, I'm experimenting to see how clear I can get my subjects while panning at lower ISO settings. In this picture, though, I just love the intesity of the eyes and the stiffening of their bodies as they head into the turn about thirty feet to my right. They are both totally focusing on the turn. I was fairly close to the road for all of these and could feel the wind whipping me as they passed. It was exciting to be right there. A couple of other photographers were on that corner, but well back and above the action. I wanted that unique look from "right there". Thanks for the critique, I do appreciate it when someone takes the time. Link to comment
