Once Upon a Time

Tough to bring the highlights out on this one. Yes, there is a

slight tilt to the horizon - that was natures work, not mine.

I really like the composistion and it's a beautiful picture. The clouds are a nice touch, but they don't seem quite right and I can't figure out why. Perhaps if you used the transform command and scaled the size down a bit ...? Still like it, though.

Great tones and composition.

Each level holds interest, and the clouds look formidable. This homestead (abandoned, it appears?) feels very exposed to the elements. Nice shot.

Beautiful, just beautiful

I agree with the comment about the clouds -- they are not of the same scale. Having said that, I think the idea and combination are great, to the extent that I'd prefer to tilt the camera up, eliminate a bit of the foreground and capture more sky (clouds). I'm not sure where I'd put the windmill -- below the horizon or above it; I'd try several angles. So, scale down the clouds and include more of them.

Reminds me of the Joad place in "The Grapes of Wrath". Some obvious technical shortfalls, but I like it anyway....Jim

Yup, I agree with Stephen - more sky would be awesome. Maybe try some different clouds, these one's don't quite fit. Great title and nice overall shot.
