katzpjs 50 Posted July 31, 2005 He is darn handsome and camouflaged too. Here are the two modifications I'd have made before posting this: 1) Crop off the bottom part of the blanket, it is uninteresting; 2) See the blue sky to the right of his head? I'd edit that to be gray or much less blue. For only having 3 photos posted you are attracting quite a bit of attention. I think you have talent! Link to comment
sky blue 0 Posted August 30, 2005 I think ole Smokey looks like a loyal companion. Great portrait. Regards ~Sky Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted August 31, 2005 Thanks for taking a peak at ol' Smokey Joe, he's an exceptional working dog, both cattle and sheep, and devoted till the cows come home. Two years ago he literally saved my life. And he likes rolling in really offensive "stuff". I noticed you have some really good "western" shots, we need to suggest to PN that they add a Western category, I keep looking for folks who shoot ranch and or western photos. Link to comment
sky blue 0 Posted September 1, 2005 ...easy to recognize a good dog. Since you have a lifesaver here, now you have a great portrait for your wall. Glad you had him around. Nice to read your comments. That "Western" category just might be worth a suggestion. You never know. There's a few on here if you hunt for them. Take care. ~Sky Link to comment

susan stone 0 Posted September 4, 2006 I'm glad you find my "side-kick" handsome, he's a great dog, and I'm sorry I neglected to thank Merni for the positive comment too. Smokey Joe is starting to show his age so I got him a new partner this Spring and Spur is learning the ropes from the old pro. Link to comment

susan stone 0 Posted June 23, 2007 Hi Micki, what with a new ranch job, lots of stormy weather that took out my power, and plain ol' fatigue I was beginning to think I'd never get back to PN. Now to top that off my new computer has decided to not recognize my CF card and I'm just sure there's some great stuff on it....what's a cowgirl photographer to do?! Link to comment
