I think I agree with the comments, above, as much as I can understand. This photo is lovely, as is the child!

There was a trail race in Sierra Madre, California, and the little

girl craned her neck to see the runners come in at the finish line.

Astonishing capture, Marco ! In her face is all that she looked forward. In other view, It would be better to convert this image to grayscale, cause there are little color patches(distortion) on her face. And I like right timing of scene. Beautiful work indeed. Best regards, Matej.

I really like the curious expression on her face and diagonal composition. Very good candid capture. However overexposed parts (shoulder) does bother a bit and I'm not sure about the stripe coming out of her head either.

I was just scrolling trough your portfolio (as i am apt to do at times) and saw this one for the first time. LOVE IT. it's exactly teh typ of photo i strive to achieve. perfect expression, perfect composition and the anticipation of eth moment is conveyed so well. Marvelous.

Funny sometimes how it works. I was,just a few moments ago, looking at the same photo on a proof sheet that I had and I had taken 3shots of her and this one was the one that turned out the best. She just stuck her head out on the street to see runners come in at the finish line of a race in town.
