jana 1 Posted July 29, 2005 This is a few hundred years old tree, now in a stoned condition, on a Namib salt pan. The most important part of the tree- the Roots, were needed when alive not only to get ankered in the salt pan, but to get water from depth. Let me know how you like it. thanks Jana Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted July 29, 2005 Jana, I like the colors and composition here--especially how the root leads us into the frame. The lighting is very harsh, but I guess that's what you get in the desert! Also, you get extra credit for licking the salt to get the shot. Link to comment
