old men and the sea

Image taken just before sunset, on one of the San Francisco beaches. As everyone left the

beach for the day this old men took out his drawing board and captured the sunset over

the Pacific ocean. It was taken with b/w film, but little underexposed since it was getting

dark but i forgot that my circular polariser was still on. Please comment.

Beautifully captured. I like the contrast and the composition. The fact that I can see only the white crests of the waves and the complete blackness of the ocean, hightens the presence of the man.
