The Mound

The Mound in Edinburgh during the G8 march.

I find shooting marches very difficult...

 

But what do YOU think about this picture ? What does or does not please you ?

Laurent, I very quickly took this photograph on my way up to the High Street. I was a fair distance away from the group. If I had walked up to the group and used a 50 or 28mm lens the result would have been sharper but would have resulted in a different photograph. Immediately after I took this I took a photograph of my partner disappearing up a deserted close towards the High Street. We subsequently joined the march to walk down the Mound. I find it interesting that not everybody is willing to shove their hands into the fire on demand....and I was trying to illustrate this in this photograph. I have printed this on Forte Warmtone FB with reasonable results.
