murat alp 0 Posted July 26, 2005 hi alec, I was there on the 6th July so I could not see this marvellous view. Great shot. Thank you for sharing. Link to comment
Stock-Photos 1 Posted July 26, 2005 My favororite type of photograph. Perfect mix of light, both artificial and twilight. How big can you print it? I'm sure it would sell for commercial use if presented to the right people. Show us the rest! If I had to critique it would be that the crop is a little tight. After seeing the other similar one on this folder, I like that one even better! Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted July 27, 2005 Alec, great job of merging in the firework. I like this one best because of the dark blue sky (we certainly don't see that in real life, but that's the best part about it.) Perhaps a bit of perspective correction to get background building squared away? Just a nit pick though. Very lively. ^_^ Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted July 28, 2005 Damien, Murat, glad to share the memories with you guys again. Harrington, you can check out my photos at: http://www.photo4me.com/MSsql/filter_photographer.asp?OwnerID=114 Lila, your passion is inspiring. Lucas, Wilson you're right about the slight tilt but IMHO the red streak lines look more balanced like this. About the dark blue sky, it's untouched, isn't it common in the desert areas? Must have seen these clear sky more then other types when I was there. Only wish we have these sky in Asia. LOL! Jayme, Geo Sun, Kristen always appreciate your comments. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted July 28, 2005 Hi, Alec, this is an unusual view of fireworks; definitely original, like luminous palm trees over the buildings. The bright red foreground is terrific. Excllent night shot. Link to comment
